right.. i mean, if myspace goes down i'll be sad, because if/when i get bored its fun to message some random person and have a conversation over a week... lol or couple days or whatever. THEN i find so much music via myspace its not even funny... Also, i like that i can customize my profile, make it personal, as well as having a song on my page.. However, i think the larger issue here is people could care less about what music you listen to, what video your watching, or what type of style you may have, and don't want to deal with any of it.. Yes, your friends are boring, and thats why facebook works, that and they steal and mine your information on facebook unless you have every single privacy item checked... and then they still prolly do it.. Anyways, friends are boring, they just want to make off comments on whatever your doing.. basically.

Fact#1-5 these are what your call opinions... and... i feel bad for your BF if you were choosing myspace over him... hmm.. but #5 is pretty true.

oh... social networking sights are just bad for relationships all around..

myspace was only fun in 2005. After you have done these social sites. first friendster, then myspace, facebook.. you realize it's a waste of time. I deleted my page, something most myspace users can't bring themselves to do. Go on I dare you. Fact 1: I have sex with my boyfriend more often now that I am on the computer less, Fact 2: My friends call me now to invite me out instead of assuming I checked myspace and caught their invite there. Fact 3: myspace is not even good for artist because it is too time consuming, they end up writing less good material and wasting energy online. Fact 4: myspace is bad for relationships. Fact 5: I promise you that myspace will go under, it was like a ghost town, like ive never seen it all summer. People are bored and boring I couldnt agree with you more.

Several people I know have a circle of friends that keep in touch through MySpace. These are groups that know each other already in the real world, but use virtual social networking to communicate because they don't all live in the same city. They had been using some other technology previously, say a bulletin board or listserv, but now they have this tool and it is much easier to share pictures, comments, stories, and plans with the whole group.
