Google New Year’s PageRank Update?
Well, according to my estimates, the last Google Pagerank rollout was 09/28/06 and they do it about every 3-4 months, so the odds are pretty good for a New Year’s rollout.
It would make sense since that is after all the major shopping holidays and they wouldn’t get much flack from online retailers, as most people will be looking at their end of year bottom lines and thanking their stars for the Google traffic (unless of course your Google traffic took a dive).

I’ve just read somewhere else that ’statistically’ speaking the next PR update is likely to be around 28th Jan 2007. Since it doesn’t increase your standing in the search engine results, I don’t see what all the hype is about really.
