I like my Microsoft Office without the Microsoft Office price

My sister called me recently asking “My trial for Microsoft Office expired, what can I do?”

Being the ever helpful brother that I am, I suggested she forget the MS Office and go download OpenOffice. I have written previously about Microsofts Fumbles and how they need to get on the free web app train asap, lest they lose out to numerous startups. Thanks for this, I’ve been looking for a good word processing package since I got my new MacBook Pro, which came with absolutely nothing. I remember the days when at least AppleWorks was included. And now they’re even charging for that!
